RMP & Associates Limited is an Information Technology Company operating in Kingston, Jamaica, Founded in November 1998 by Reece Kong, Managing Director. Reece started his Information Technology career as a data entry clerk in 1985 at Kingston Terminal Operators Ltd., (KTO, now APM Terminals) after six years he had risen to the position of Systems Administrator/Programmer Analyst.
He left to KTO in 1991 and joined the team at Advanced Integrated Systems Ltd. (AIS), as a Programmer Analyst by 1995 he was the Vice President of Information Technology a position he held till he left in 1998.
RMP was started by Reece with the purpose of establishing a home grown IT company, capable of delivering complete solutions on par with anything that our North American neighbors can supply to our market, specializing in software development, consultancy services and of course the resale of computers and accessories to corporate clients. To this end we adopted the vision -
To become the leading Service and Consultancy Company in the Information Technology field in Jamaica and the Caribbean.
This vision is the bedrock on which our company is built all our corporate strategies are made with this goal firmly in focus. As our primary and guiding strategy for success we intend to provide leading edge solutions and service both as far as technical competence is concerned and customer service, as outlined in our Mission Statement -

In our nine years of existence we have aimed our products and services at the vertical corporate market in Jamaica focusing on products and services that would have equal appeal in both Jamaica and the broader Caribbean, to this end we have developed -
We have also forged significant business relationships with IT partners most importantly IBM as a business partner thus facilitating our access to high end state of the art technologies and services.
This strategy has paid off well for us so far, as we have grown from strength to strength, always targeting and executing projects the size of which would belie our small size.
In fact, our largest project to date – developing for the Government of Jamaica a Budget Driven Accrual Accounting System for use in all Government Ministries, was awarded to us on a sole contractor basis because we were the only company with such a product and the capabilities of executing this project. A position certified and ratified by the contracts committee at the Ministry of Finance and by the Cabinet of Jamaica a contract valued at approximately US$300,000.00

Ø FinMan wins open bid at the Ministry of Labour, Welfare and Sport - 2000
Ø Development of Intranet application for National Housing Trust's Bond Accounting System – 2001
